Temporary short-term housing
utpELLES offers short-term temporary accommodation to women experiencing residential instability and homelessness who have a history of sexual exploitation and are in the process of leaving prostitution.
We work with various partners at the local, provincial, and federal levels. Access to our residences is by referral only: women seeking accommodation must be referred to us by one of our recognized partners.

House rules
- Our residences are not supervised and do not offer support services 24/7.
- Residents must be autonomous.
- The maximum length of stay is three (3) months.
Assistance and support
During their stay, we support our residents in their efforts to rebuild their lives and find safe, stable, and independent housing through:
- A personalized action plan, developed with each woman to facilitate their transition to stable housing.
- Assistance with re-empowerment efforts, including support adapted to each woman’s needs.
- Group activities to break isolation, encourage mutual assistance, and foster learning in a caring and safe environment.
- Information and resources regarding housing options available based on the woman’s needs.
- Post-accommodation follow-up: the women who make use of our accommodations can take advantage of an extended follow-up to help them pursue their reintegration efforts.
