Providing shelter to build a better future

Since 2018, utpELLES has been expanding its initiatives to support women leaving the sex industry. From temporary housing to the construction of Montreal’s first transitional building, to supporting women in their re-empowerment efforts, to capacity-building projects, each initiative aims to provide a safe-haven and a launch pad to independence. Learn how our projects transform lives and contribute to building a more just society.

Housing project

Our housing project aims to establish the first transitional housing building designed to support women on their journey towards independence and stability.

Temporary residences

To provide immediate and safe refuge to women in highly vulnerable situations. Our short-term residences are a key step towards stabilization and independence.

Capacity-building

We are building a stronger organization that is better equipped to address the realities on the ground. By developing a solid governance structure and a coherent action strategy, we are reinforcing our power to act for the equality and dignity of women, particularly those who wish to leave the prostitution system.

Join us in offering support and hope.
